September 2009: PRION India got ISO 9001:2008 certified
Cutting Edge Solutions Ltd (CES), a leading UK Siemens PLM Software Solutions Partner has proudly announced a merger with PRION UK Ltd, part of the PRION international group of companies, a leader in the global provision of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and services.

Under the terms of the agreement PRION has acquired an equal share of CES with additional future options. The new combined business, which will be based in Leafield, Oxfordshire, creates a unique company able to offer a complete PLM solution to businesses whether small, medium or enterprise.

PRION Group is growing: Opening of an additional office in Preston, UK

PRION Group has successfully established an additional office location in Europe. The new office is situated in Preston (north of Manchester), close to key customers of PRION UK in the aerospace and defence sector.
This new PRION office is the result of successful work with customers in the north of England over the past two years. An office presence in the North of England will provide local customers with the benefit of superior PLM consulting and Teamcenter implementation services delivered on their doorstep.

February 2009: PRION USA Update
PRION USA office moved from Glendale (Los Angeles) to Portland, Oregon and extends PLM services to provide Consultancy for Agile PLM and Windchill along with PRION existent Teamcenter practice.
PRION USA Executive serves on Expert Panel at PLM Connections to discuss Lean Product Development
Laila Hirr, Vice President of PRION USA, participated on an expert panel discussing lean product development at the Siemens PLM Connection event held last week in Nashville, Tennessee. The panel included Jon Jarrett from ATK, Chuck Grindstaff from Siemens PLM, and David Shook from Siemens PLM and was moderated by Raj Kooshoo of Siemens PLM.
The panel met in the conference general session on Wednesday morning prior to the track breakouts and discussed the results of a realtime workshop on Lean Product Development that had been held on Tuesday in the PLM Management Track. The panel shared case studies of various companies’ challenges to improve productivity and how leveraging PLM is critical for exercising Lean in the product development cycles.
“It was a confirmation of our findings to have the workshop results show that many companies have pieces of the technologies for Lean Product Development, however are still struggling to leverage the tools at an enterprise level for true advantage, showing the need for process consulting that brings a foundational understanding of both the technology and the business issues” says Mrs. Hirr who also hosted the Management track throughout the 4 day event.
